I signed this pledge because it is important that although we have access to information thanks to the advancement of technology, it is more important than ever to commit to sharing and providing information based on facts to the best of my ability. Most people get their so-called news and education from 30 second sound bites intended to influence perception and thoughts. I want to direct people to ALL sides of an issue, not just one in order to get a vote. I want my constituents to vote (voting for me would be nice too 🙂 but I want them to vote with the true and accurate information they need to make an informed decision that is best for them.
